Internship - Perfusion process in bioreactors optimization (m / f / d)

Start date : August 2024Duration : 6 monthsLocation : Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland As a member of the Global Drug Substance Development, you will work with a group of motivated scientists who are committed to developing and implementing solutions to support the production of new biological therapeutics.Within this group, your mission will focus on the perfusion platform process improvement in bioreactors ranging from 2 mL, 3.5 L, and / or 200 L equipped with a cell retention device. You will be required to optimize the parameters for the cell retention device and provide recommendations for operations. You will also have the unique opportunity to program & work with automated sampling systems.You will be trained to work independently in the lab (cell thawing, cell expansion, work under laminar flow hood, in process control, etc) and will actively participate in experimental design. Additionally, you will analyze and present your data in project discussions and write a report to conclude your internship. Your profile : Master / engineer student in biotechnology or other related fieldsHighly motivated and autonomousAbility to conceptualize, solve complex challenges, and communicate about your projectGreat team spiritPrevious experience in cell culture / aseptic handling is a plusGood written and oral knowledge in French and English
