The Role

Were hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work at the frontier between customers and engineering. Youll partner with strategic enterprise accounts to deploy integrate and scale Lakeras platform in complex environments.

This is a deeply technical customer-embedded role focused on deployment success and expansion . Youll design integrations solve performance bottlenecks and occasionally build small features or prototypes when needed.

You will :

Own the technical success of a few high-value high-touch customers from onboarding through expansion.

Deploy Lakera in on-prem VPC and hybrid environments ensuring performance scalability and security.

Design and implement integrations across APIs data pipelines and authentication systems.

Work with customer engineering teams to optimize workflows debug production issues and tune system performance.

Build custom connectors adapters or lightweight features that unblock adoption.

Collaborate with Sales Engineers Product and Core Engineering to ensure customers go live smoothly and expand usage.

Represent customer needs internally translating field learnings into roadmap input.

Occasionally travel (1020%) for deployment workshops and relationship building.

What Were Looking For

Proven success building or deploying deeply technical products in enterprise settings.

Strong technical foundation degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Hands-on experience as a software engineer solutions engineer or forward deployed engineer .

Proficiency with APIs cloud and distributed systems; comfortable designing and implementing integrations.

Confident engaging with both technical and business stakeholders .

Thrive in fast-moving ambiguous environments where outcomes matter more than process.

Professional maturity : youll represent Lakera with some of the worlds largest enterprises.

Curiosity about AI security and enterprise systems .

Ability to learn and execute quickly under pressure.
