Position Summary
Aptiv is looking for highly motivated Senior Tax Analyst’s to join its Tax and Accounting team in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
This is a unique opportunity to work with both tax and accounting leadership to ensure Aptiv meets its tax reporting obligations in a timely, efficient and transparent manner.
Position will be responsible for preparing legal entity accounting entries and reconciliations between statutory, local tax, evolving OECD / EU Pillar 2, US GAAP, and other evolving regulatory reporting.
In addition, the Senior Tax Analysts will help design, implement and monitor an internal assessment program for transfer pricing and tax across the globe.
This role will require close collaboration with other finance functions, including corporate and operational finance, technical accounting, treasury, transfer pricing, and direct and indirect tax teams.
The experience gained will provide solid foundation for continued advancement both in the corporate tax and finance teams.

Your Role
Pillar 2 Compliance
- Work alongside FP&A to help design, enhance and monitor LE forecasting including the completion of transfer pricing reviews
- Working alongside the Tax Accounting team to design a robust process to calculate the impact Pillar 2 will have on Aptiv’s Effective tax rate on a quarterly basis
- Responsible for the preparation of the estimation of the impact Pillar 2 will have on Aptiv’s quarterly Effective tax rate.
- Preparation and review of Pillar 2 annual reporting requirements
Tax Internal Assessment Program
- Alongside the Senior Director of Tax Governance design and roll put an internal assessment program for tax and accounting to ensure that policies and procedures are being adhered to by local finance teams across the globe
- Work with local finance and tax teams to ensure remediation on any tax or accounting risks identified as part of the internal assessment program
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 4+ years tax / accounting experience within the tax function of a multinational publicly traded corporation and / or public accounting firm, with US GAAP tax accounting exposure an advantage
- Master’s degree in tax or other advanced degree
- Knowledge of accounting and consolidations systems (SAP, HFM) and tax reporting software (OneSource)
- Good working knowledge of tax accounting concepts (ASC 740, IAS 12)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to interact well with people of various backgrounds and levels
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines for US GAAP reporting needs
- Strong organizational skill to ensure ability to prioritize workload and manage a number of projects at any one time
