Production Technician & Quality Control Denim

Reporting directly to the Production Technician & Quality Control Manager, the Production Technician & Quality Control will collaborate and be responsible of the manufacturing management and product quality control for Fully Fashioned and cut and sew products for all the Guess Apparel lines (Denim).

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Following up all steps for production starting from sms fitting session by suggesting all workmanship improvement in order to get bulk with all company quality standards
• Monitor and recording of processing of all samples, participate to fitting session for all production steps
• Check incoming inspection procedures and sampling and respective reports
• Raising of non-conformance against inspected products and forwarded to suppliers
• Liaise with suppliers on site to view goods issues by ensuring that all standards will be always followed
• Maintain up to date copies of all the alterations or amendments
• Continually assess supplier quality and report details
• Deal with SMS Fitting, size set & PPS / TOP requests
• Ensure that all vendors will be aware of the quality control process and communicate with the quality control team
• Ensure the material and auxiliary materials meet the quality standard
• Secure the product quality, and interact daily with all vendors on a regular basis to ensure the quality and delivery time
• Ensure daily follow up on assigned vendors on a regular basis
• Maintain up to date copies of all the alterations or amendments in discussion
• Monitor the approval process for clothing items during preproduction from an aesthetic, technical and qualitative point of view
• Support the R&D team in order to solve production issues and to improve the quality of garments
• Follow up the complete cycle with vendors if quality is not aligned to brand requirements
• Maintain all records of daily work in our company system with detail and accuracy
• Good attitude to work on team together with Product department and tech team in order to get the best result on all production steps starting from sms stage up to final sample to approve before shipment
• Ensure that all inspections on site form third party will be checked and followed on daily basis by detecting all issue before the shipment
