Director, International Marketing

Our client is an international biopharmaceutical organization operating in a highly specialized therapeutic area. They are strengthening their international commercial marketing structure and are seeking an experienced Director, International Marketing to play a central role in global-to-regional alignment and senior stakeholder engagement.
This position is based in Zug and works closely with global, regional, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear, consistent, and executable marketing frameworks for international markets.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface between global marketing and the international commercial organization, ensuring alignment and clarity of messaging and priorities
- Translate global brand strategy into a coherent international framework that enables effective regional and local execution
- Represent the international perspective in global forums, influencing strategy through strong insights, credibility, and stakeholder management
- Partner closely with international marketing colleagues (Associate Director and Senior Manager) to ensure consistency, prioritization, and clarity for affiliates
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, market access, customer insights, analytics, and other commercial functions to drive coordinated execution
Requirements
Significant experience in international or regional marketingStrong background in cardiology or another major specialty area (e.g. respiratory)Proven ability to operate with senior stakeholdersStrategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach in matrix environmentsWillingness and ability to be based in Zug, with regular on-site presence (hybrid model, ~2 days / week minimum)Please only apply if you are eligible to work in Switzerland and the EU
