Supply Specialist
As part of the Indirect Purchasing team, you will work with Category Management to determine what to buy and where. In this exciting and diverse role as Supply Specialist, the focus is on quality, cost and on-time delivery, with the highest priority on meeting our internal customer needs.
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Obtaining quotations, preparing bid comparisons and carrying out price clarifications
- Triggering orders and active monitoring of delivery dates
- Maintaining and developing supplier relationships including support in price negotiations, quantity contracts and supplier visits in coordination with category management
- Supporting in strategic tasks such as evaluation of new suppliers, supplier assessments, execution of benchmark, etc.
- Continuous data maintenance in applied ERP systems (article and supplier master data)
- Manage assigned articles and suppliers according to commercial aspects (Kanban, Dispo, order related)
- Co-design efficient processes across the entire "source to pay" process chain
YOUR COMPENTENCIES
- Completed commercial education / apprenticeship, e.g. as an industrial clerk
- Further education as a Purchasing Specialist or Business Administration preferred
- A solid 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing company
- Good knowledge of MS-Office and ERP systems (MS Dynamics D365 an advantage)
- Agile and can able to adapt to new requirements at any time
- Ability to take pragmatic approach and proceed in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner
- A high level of resilience, with a diplomatic yet assertive charisma
- Very good German and good English skills
