Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and standards. Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting capabilities. Fluent in English (C1 level or above). Availability to travel across Europe (Switzerland, Belgium, France). Ideally based in Northern Italy to facilitate regular travel to Zurich (Switzerland). Previous experience in the Aerospace sector is highly preferred. Cross-functional position interfacing System Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality domains. Project-based assignment at one of Albelissa’s aerospace clients. Hybrid work arrangement with regular presence at the supplier site in Zurich (Switzerland) one to two days per week, and remote work for the remaining days. Additional travel may be required to suppliers in Belgium and South-East France. High degree of autonomy and results orientation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to operate within multidisciplinary and international teams. Proven experience in supplier management, scheduling, and project coordination within engineering or industrial environments. Albelissa is an international consulting company providing high value-added services in the fields of engineering, information technology, technical recruiting, and business process outsourcing.
Background
Albelissa is seeking a Supply Chain Project Engineer – PLF Design to support a project assignment for one of our major clients in the aerospace sector. The selected candidate will play a key role in the coordination and management of technical and supply chain activities related to the Payload Fairing (PLF) design and separation systems, ensuring alignment between engineering, qualification, and supplier management functions.
This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to manage interactions among internal teams, the client, and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical and managerial interface between the client and suppliers, ensuring effective coordination of supply chain and project activities.
- Support discussions and provide input on structural and dynamic performance, separation systems, and related system-level requirements.
- Manage the information flow across stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting and progress tracking.
- Review and validate technical and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with contractual and system specifications.
- Oversee testing, qualification, and production activities to verify adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and manage non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis, and drive the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR / Export Control regulations and documentation procedures.
- Represent Albelissa’s technical and managerial interests on-site at the client and supplier facilities.
