We are excited to offer projects within different unique master thesis projects ideas that focus on creating sustainable solutions in industrial communication technology (ICT). These projects provide a fantastic opportunity for students who want to contribute to a more sustainable future through innovation, critical thinking, and research.

OUR SUGGESTIONS FOR PROJECTS

1. Risk Management within Sustainability

• Review Risk Management at HMS and identify what is needed from a TCFD perspective at HMS. Aim to do a pre-studie and a draft on  TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures)  for HMS.
• You will need to have competence within Sustainability and Risk Management. Since this assignment is connected to CSRD - Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the TCFD will be part of the annual reporting.
• In this you will have to be able to analyse the data from HMS and the current annual report incl HMS Risks to understand the gap. By this if needed arrange interviews or needed workshops to build a plan for HMS to have TCFD in the annual report.
• As a person your strength are communication, analytic and a problem solver. It is more a complex task and thereby you need to embrace and love a challenge, preferred to have an Environmental education with and understanding of the ESG and sustainability development goals, climate change etc as a background.
• Here you need to have the ability to be working by yourself. It is important to be able to be at the HQ in Halmstad and if needed there is also possibility to work from distance, according to alignment with HMS. The scope of the assignment can also change based on competence & background.
• Important internal stakeholders : Director Sustainability & Quality, Global Sustainability Coordinator, Group Finance Director and COO.
