StellenbeschreibungResponsibility for the provision, administration and configuration of (Windows) servers including hardware and procurement Administration and maintenance of the virtual environment based on VMware Planning and implementation of projects for the further development and optimization of the IT infrastructure Implementation of security guidelines and measures to protect against cyber threats Supplier management for IT equipment Support of users (m / f / d) in the software and hardware area - both on site and remotely Processing incoming requests in the ticket system (2nd and 3rd level support) Technical guidance and support for (junior) system administrators (m / f / d) Collaboration in various Center of Excellence teams to plan the global IT strategy Several years of experience as an IT or system administrator (m / f / d), preferably in a production environment sound knowledge of server administration (Dell, VMware, Windows Server) and virtual environments (VMware and Horizon) Very good skills in dealing with the Microsoft stack (AD, MS Server, SQL Server, Windows 10 / 11, Office365) Good knowledge of programming with PowerShell or SQL as well as know-how in the backup area desirable Experience with cloud applications and in the area of IT security and disaster recovery Very good written and spoken English (a prerequisite for working with international teams) Leadership experience and team player mentality Ability to translate and document complex IT topics into business language Independent and conceptual way of working, quick comprehension with a high sense of responsibility and interest in taking on responsibility quickly Strong pursuit of technical innovation as well as results- and value-oriented work Willingness to work outside of business hours in critical emergencies and to travel (10-20%)
