About Cultivated Biosciences
We're building a world in which animal-free dairy is the better choice for everyone.
Our mission is to empower plant-based dairy to give it the creaminess and mouthfeel consumers strive for.
To do this we are developing creamy functional ingredients from non-GMO yeast to be sold as B2B ingredients. We have just raised our seed round and are transitioning from the lab to the market.
Your mission
As a Head of Finance & Legal, you will be responsible for managing the financial and legal aspects of our company. You will oversee finances, legal contracts, financial reporting, governance, and fundraising activities. Your role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and legal compliance of our organization, as well as supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all financial operations and strategy
- Oversee legal matters, including contracts with partners, NDAs, and MTAs
- Coordinate financial reporting, maintaining communication with accountants and auditors
- Handle grant applications and management
- Ensure governance, including organizing and managing the General Assembly
- Support fundraising efforts, with lead on on debt and non-dilutive financing
