Category Manager, Global Procurement - Cocoa

Under the supervision of the Director, Cocoa Sourcing & Risk Management, the individual will be required to maintain the overall Cocoa category strategy and execute key components. This position will also be responsible for financial delivery related to our physical cocoa book, supply continuity and the operational performance of our supply base and associated metrics.
Summary of major duties : -
Develop and Maintain of the Category Sourcing Strategy To Drive Growth and Strategic Advantage
- Source physical cocoa requirements across Hershey that meet current and future business needs across Sustainable, Reliable and Affordable;
- Manage the assessment, selection and development of suppliers to meet requirements and performance kpis;
- Ensure appropriate agreements and contracts are in place, to provide the necessary safeguards, and manages against these contracts;
- Research developing technologies, supply chain capacity / capabilities, and supply / demand challenges
- Understand the key sustainability requirements relating to the category – work in close collaboration with the Sustainable Sourcing team to deliver these while enhancing transparency in the supply chain and ensuring appropriate due diligence on the key risks and mitigation activities.
