Senior Scientific Product Manager in Pharma Research & Early Development Informatics

The pRED Data & Analytics team is the bridge between digital technology and science. We help drive pharmaceutical and medical innovation and are integral to the development of innovative treatments for patients.
This position is anchored in the Data Products & Platforms Chapter within Data & Analytics (D&A). The Data Products & Platforms Chapter in D&A brings together all competencies required to design, build, operate and evolve our digital landscape and the pRED-wide data backbone.
We enhance the full scientific data pipeline from structured data capture to powerful data integration and efficient data interrogation in order to create and develop successful drug molecules as efficiently as possible.
Role Mission
As a product manager in Data & Analytics, you will be responsible to create and continuously refine a sound vision and roadmap for one or several globally deployed, high-impact scientific digital health solutions used in clinical drug development.
You will lead multidisciplinary matrix teams and interact with diverse stakeholders to ensure the successful realization of that vision.
Your initial focus will be on remote patient monitoring sensor data workflow solutions. These solutions enable sensitive and meaningful drug development endpoints leveraging technologies like smartphones, wearables and nearables to collect objective and continuous sensor data from patients in clinical trials.
You will collaborate with colleagues from the wider D&A community of pRED and beyond to ensure an integrated and intuitive digital product landscape.
Your Impact
You will work in close collaboration with pRED’s scientists to identify high value digital health and Data & Analytics opportunities and work towards their implementation as a product manager.
Your initial focus is on remote patient monitoring sensor data workflow products, covering sensor data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics and sharing
You will work with architects, engineers and developers to shape and drive the implementation of solutions that optimally support complex research and clinical development activities.
You will be a key contributor to strategic initiatives on improving the effectiveness of our digital contributions to advance pREDs drug portfolio
You will establish and nurture effective partnerships with scientists, research IT specialists and external companies to ensure strategic alignment and effective prioritization of product backlogs and resources
You will be part of a highly-motivated international team with a global footprint as part of a dynamic, inclusive environment which gives you full accountability for your own contributions and development
Who you are
We are looking for an experienced digital leader to join us in contributing to the digital transformation of pharmaceutical research and early development via innovative and impactful digital solutions :
You have an intrinsic passion for applying innovative technology solutions to complex scientific use cases
You have a university degree (Master, or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Quantitative Natural Science or related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience
You successfully led digital health or research informatics projects and / or programmes with a high degree of complexity in stakeholder and change management
You have domain expertise in clinical drug development and are skilled in conceptualizing state-of-the-art digital solutions to address scientific objectives.
Experience with remote patient monitoring, sensor data workflows and cloud-based solutions is desirable.
You have proven to be able to navigate consciously between strategic conceptual thinking and detail-oriented planning for implementation.
You are a quick learner, inspired by curiosity, who enjoys entering into new areas to build expertise, and you courageously and creatively take initiative to see your ideas implemented
You enjoy building and nurturing networks and effective relationships with colleagues and collaborators working with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams.
