Job Description
- Overseeing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
- Preparation and support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyzing and optimizing financial processes in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assisting with budget and forecast preparation
- Contributing to projects focused on increasing efficiency and process optimization in the finance department
- Collaborating with external auditors, and tax authorities
The Successful Applicant
- Completed commercial training with further education in finance and accounting, preferably with a certified accountant qualification, or a degree in finance
- Several years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Analytical, structured work style with a high sense of responsibility
- Proficient in ERP systems, ideally SAP, and advanced Excel skills
