RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Product Performance Evaluation Senior Manager, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, efficacy, and consumer satisfaction.

You will bring your expertise to define & implement the best testing strategy for each or our categories, define KPIs by product type working in close collaboration with many partners.

Your main focus :

• Develop and implement robust methodologies for product testing, establish the consumer-based technical success criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment on product performance goals and standards.
• Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance product performance.
• Define and execute the consumer testing strategy to develop and confirm the irresistibility of our products and confirm final readiness.
• Develop a reliable external network of suppliers able to meet our requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in product testing methodologies, develop external collaborations to investigate new methods.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Consumer & Sensory Science, you will get to work with many partners from R&D, CMI and Marketing teams, developing robust testing plans to validate products that will ultimately delight consumers.

The Consumer & Sensory Science team consists of 10 people, from different generations, nationalities spread over two continents.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You, other than, have a passion for beauty, like to lead a team and projects. As an experienced Product Performance Evaluation Senior Manager, you like strategizing and working with stakeholders, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.

Other than that, you have :

• Scientific (Biology, Cosmetic science or related) or Psychology background master’s degree or higher.
• 8-10 years of experience using consumer product understanding to drive the development of winning products, preferably within the beauty industry.
• Qualitative and Quantitative Research experience is a must.
• Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to product performance.
• Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
• Knowledge of formulation and of the current technologies of product development.
• Fluency in English, French would be a plus.
