OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION

TASKS
- Manage the accounts receivable team including training, development and performance management.
- Oversee daily operations of the accounts receivable department to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and manage the collection process.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce aged receivables.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and processing of customer payments.
- Collaborate with the sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and update records of invoices, debits, and credits, customer masterdata.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations i.e. SOX, US GAAP, etc.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in the company-wide ERP Migration project for the process in scope
- Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Education : Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Professional certification e.g. CPA, ACCA, CMA is a plus
Special Knowledge : Excellent communication in English
Knowledge of German and / or French is an advantage
Expertise in Excel
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Capable of setting-up priorities among multiple deliverables
Personality : Excellent ability to interact with all hierarchical levels of the company
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, diplomacy
Professional Experience : Min. 3 years of professional experience, ideally in a similar position / international environment.
Previous experience of people management is a strong advantage.
