About the Company : For an innovative and digital reality, which designs, manufactures and supplies a sustainable AI based technological solution for the 3D automated optical inspection of assembled printed circuit boards, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a R&D Engineer .

Core Responsibilities :

• Test Planning : Collaborate with the development team to understand the project requirements, objectives, and expected outcomes.
• Assist in creating test plans and test cases based on the provided specifications;
• Test Execution : Execute test cases and scenarios to uncover defects, bugs, and areas of improvement. Conduct functional, usability, compatibility, and performance testing according to defined test plans;
• Bug Reporting : Identify and document software defects and other issues. Provide clear and detailed bug reports, including steps to reproduce the issue, expected results, and actual results;
• Collaborate with production to setup and run the tests for the production line;
• Understand customer requirements : Collaborate with sales, applications and service engineers to gather detailed information about customer needs and objectives for inspection solutions;
• Installation and integration : Assist service engineer with the installation, configuration, and integration of our inspection products into the client existing systems, ensuring seamless interoperability;
• Product training : Conduct training sessions and workshops for application and service engineers to educate them on the effective use and maintenance of our inspection systems, software, and tools;
• Technical support : Provide timely and efficient technical remote support to application and service engineers by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our inspection solutions.
• This includes remote assistance and collaboration with internal teams for complex problems;
• Reporting : Validate and reporting the new features;
• Continuous improvement : Collaborate with the other R&D teams to provide feedback from customers, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the enhancement of existing products and the development of new solutions;
• Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, and troubleshooting guides, to assist customers in effectively utilizing our inspection products.

Must have :

• Bachelor's degree in mechatronic, software or electrical engineering
• A solid experience in the inspection industry, specifically with inspection systems or related technologies, is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
