Contexte et environnement

TotalEnergies Gas & Power Trading (TGP) and its affiliates are expanding and developing quickly in support of the company’s transition to power.

Most notably, the acquisition of a range of energy assets, from renewable sources such as wind and solar, to batteries and CCGT’s.

For trading this implies significant growth in trading volumes, a larger geographical footprint and an urgency for process automation, which has many implications for IT.

For the Back Office for gas and power trading, there is a need for systems improvement to support all of the changes required.

In parallel with the power transition, the gas trading business is also expanding, and places additional demands on the IT.
