As a Legal Officer, you will be part of the Legal Department. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Project analysis : Advise internal stakeholders on the legal aspects of the Bank's projects, including innovative banking services and implementation of novel technologies, providing insights and risk assessments
  • Banking and corporate matters : Analyze banking and corporate legal issues, ensuring alignment with regulations
  • Contract drafting and negotiation : Draft and negotiate agreements with clients and partners
  • Legal disputes and litigation : Handle legal disputes and litigation matters, including addressing client claims, managing outside counsel and representing the Bank in court proceedings
  • Top Management Support : Offer legal guidance and contribute to reports to the Executive Management and Board of Directors
  • Education : Swiss law degree (membership to a bar and / or any additional qualification such as an or a CAS are considered as an asset)
  • Experience : Demonstrated expertise in corporate and banking law, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services industry or related fields ( reputable law firm or consultingpany with a focus on financial services matters).
  • Languages : Perfectmand of English and French, working knowledge of German (perfectmand of German being an asset)
  • Skills Affinity with innovation and blockchain technology; understanding of related legislation Proficiency in assessing legal risks with a keen understanding of business implications Strong written andmunication skills across functions and stakeholders Adept at collaborative teamwork while maintaining autonomy
