Who you are :

You are a highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and hands-on individual with a passion for finance and accounting system development.

Your tasks & responsibilities :

  • Manage and oversee the accounting systems and standards, ensuring continuous improvement and implementation of new accounting standards for accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate financial reporting : revenue analysis & KPI reports, compile monthly reporting packages, and reconcile intercompany monthly balances for comprehensive financial insights.
  • Manage Month-End and Year-End Processes : lead the monthly reconciliation and consolidation process of all group entities.
  • Controlling, Analysis, and Review : review subsidiary accounts for accuracy and conduct flux analysis, ensure control for booking vouchers and maintain rigorous oversight of subsidiary accounts to uphold financial integrity.
  • Educate team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable environment.

What you bring :

  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and international environment with a proven track record of success.
  • Higher education within Finance & Accounting, preferably with certification as an expert in accounting and controlling.
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss accounting law and regulations, with a keen understanding of Swiss VAT regulations, IFRS, and Swiss GAAP FER .
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility and proactivity, with a strong ability to educate and support team members, step in as needed to provide backup.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure, adept at prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver consistent results.
