Job description

At CGI, you can expect challenging software projects for our well-known customers in the Rhine-Main area.

As a Java Consultant, you will take on roles in the conception and technical implementation of modern solutions based on the latest technologies.

Due to the broad positioning with a large number of customers from a wide range of industries, you will be involved in varied and innovative projects with a wide variety of technical backgrounds.

This gives you the opportunity to work independently in different constellations and teams, to contribute and deepen your existing knowledge and skills and to continuously learn new things.

Tasks :

• Conception and development in Java in the context of cloud & containers & microservices
• Collaboration in agile software development projects
• You are also welcome to take on tasks in full stack development if you would like to develop in this direction

Qualifications :

• Completed studies or completed vocational training and at least 3 years of professional experience
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Maven and Git
• Experience with SQL databases (such as Oracle, MySQL) or noSQL databases (such as neo4j, mongoDB)
• High level of interest in modern technologies, topics and issues relating to the web
• Very good analytical skills
• Good knowledge of German
