Data Architect (German Speaking)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Data Architect (German Speaking). This role is permanent position based in Zürich Canton & comes with good home office allowance.

Your Role :

• Lead the Data Architecture for new use cases on a Cloud Data Platform & develop solution concepts for Data Products together with Data Teams.
• Support a Data & Analytics Development Team as a Data Architect in the implementation of use cases.
• Hold responsibility for the implementation of DevOps Methods on a Cloud Data Platform.
• Model implemented use cases & projects end-to-end in an Enterprise Architect tool & work together with the Enterprise Architects.
• Technical develop & govern PowerBI & support the business on its way towards Self-Service BI.
• Maintain an overview of the Data Landscape, implement Data Architecture specifications within projects & provide guidance to application & service managers on Data topics.

Your Skills :

• At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering including at least 1+ year as a Data Architect.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Engineering on Modern Cloud-based Data platforms (lakehouse, databricks, etc.).
• Sound experience in a DevOps-Driven & Agile (Scrum) Environment.
• Strong expertise in Python is & Clean Code.
• Experienced in Data Management, Data Flow Modelling & Developing Data Pipelines & APIs.

Your Profile :

• Completed University Degree in the area of Computer Science or similar.
• Networked-thinking, a can-do attitude, open, communicative, confident & customer-orientated.
• Curious about new technologies & motivated to continuously learn & stay up to date.
• Fluent in English & very good German language skills (to at least B2 Level) are mandatory requirements.
