R&D Lead Biology, Skin & Hair

Our client is a Biotech company focusing on ageing science in the sectors of nutrition and beauty. With financial backing from prominent industry figures, they take pride in delivering robust scientific data.

As they grow and develop their R&D efforts, they are looking for a Director who would drive the skin care and hair research unit, building strong evidence of the product’s effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You manage the Skin and Hair R&D program

You identify market needs for the skincare and hair sector and develop preclinical research strategies accordingly

You lead the preclinical research and work hands-on in the lab , focusing on molecular biology techniques

You collaborate internally with product development and marketing on science communication

REQUIREMENTS

You hold a PhD in a relevant field (Biology / Molecular Biology is the focus here we cannot consider candidates coming from a Chemistry / Chemical Engineering background)

You have 5 years of hands-on experience in skincare and hair R&D, Molecular Biology, in vitro and in vivo techniques

You have experience in testing and screening active ingredients in the field

You enjoy working in small or mid-sized companies with a fast-paced environment
