Inventory Control Specialist

Job description

The inventory Control Specialist will be placed within the Supply Chain function and will report to the Logistic Manager. He / she will be responsible for the main activities related to the management of stock and 3PLs.

Responsibilities

Stock reconciliation activities to be performed at the beginning of each month :

  • Collect end of month stock reports by lot from 3PLs of IBSA CH and IBSA ITA
  • Compare data received from 3PLs vs. IBSA's SAP data and identifies differences to be investigated
  • Launch investigations to identify the reasons for each the delta, engaging sales team / customer care and 3PLs as needed
  • Apply the corrections required to ensure full reconciliation (e.g. damaged goods, returns,…), supported by functions responsible for the SAP transactions
  • In case of (small) stock differences not understood / explained, align with controlling in order to perform a stock adjustment

Other 3PL management activities :

  • Manage and check goods at 3PLs about to expire and to be destroyed (based on agreed QAA) – on a monthly basis
  • Support Logistic Manager in definition and renewal of contracts with 3PLs
  • Support Logistic Manager in identifying and monitoring cost-savings initiatives
  • Develop / monitor KPIs to track regularly 3PLs performances about warehouse management
  • Support the preparation of the Annual Review report (issued by Logistics for all 3PLs managed)
  • Provide support to trading affiliates in the reconciliation of their stock, when needed
  • Overview stock reconciliation process and results for trading affiliates

    • Required skills

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field
  • Previous experience in a similar role and in international companies
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering management or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP 4HANA
  • Very good knowledge of English (C1 Level)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
