Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Snapbau is a digital purchasing management platform used by more than 320 construction companies in Switzerland, including major players such as Orllati, CPSA, Scrasa and ARSA. Our solution automates and optimises the management of calls for tender and purchasing, enabling companies to save time, reduce errors and centralise collaboration with suppliers.

You will be part of the team responsible for designing and building the AI layer of Snapbau’s digital operating system for procurement and coordination in the construction sector.

Tasks

AI System Design & Development

• Develop machine learning and AI models to automate and optimize construction procurement workflows (e.g. price prediction, document classification, lead scoring, supplier matching).
• Build generative AI features to assist with document generation, meeting summaries, and structured communication.
• Create and maintain pipelines for training, testing, and deploying ML models.
• Develop lightweight APIs or services to integrate AI modules into the Snapbau platform.
