Senior R&D Electromagnetism Engineer

For our Electrical Safety Solutions (ESS) business unit, we are looking for a Senior R&D Electromagnetism Engineer for DC products to switch and protect medium voltage electrical circuits for the railway and renewable energy industries.

Main responsibilities :

• You are in charge of multiphysics  simulation, with emphasis on electromagnetism.
• You are in charge of the design, development and validation of components for DC medium voltage electro-mechanical products for the safety, protection and reliability of railway and renewable energy industries.
• You are able to develop products from initial concept feasibility studies, finite element analysis, prototyping, validation through to certification and product launch.
• You manage product improvements and existing product maintenance.
