The Master Data Specialist is part of the global Master Data Team and is responsible for managing all Master Data requests mostly from the Americas and Europe, but also supports other regions in Asia according to the follow-the-sun principle. The Master Data Specialist collaborates closely with the Supervisor and Domain Owners and can support other tasks dependent on his knowledge.
Key responsibilities :
Handles standard requests for Customer, Vendor, Material, WBS, and FICO related. Mainly for requests originating from the Americas, but handling also requests from other regions according to the follow-the-sun principle.
Handles special requests for the above-mentioned Master Data domains and regions. Escalates complex requests to members of the Master Data competence center.
First-level troubleshooting in case of Master Data issues.
Supporting of global Master Data Team in different Master Data tasks like reports, cleansing, and simple mass changes or other assigned tasks.
Key requirements :
Advanced English Level.
Advanced Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data-Science, Finance, Purchasing or Sales and Distribution or a related field.
At least 3 years of working experience with Master Data.
Proven experience with Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and / or Customer Service at a Shared Service Center.
Basic knowledge about business processes source to pay and / or order to cash, Bank, WBS, Materials, FICO, Vendor, and Customer Master Data knowledge or part of it.
Enhanced SAP ERP.
Enhanced Microsoft Office focused on Excel.
Excellent communication and Customer Service skills.
