Tasks and Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for end users with IT related issues, requests or questions
- Occasionally provide meeting and conferencing support to the top-level management in a corporate environment
- Actively contribute to the knowledge database
- Resolve software, hardware and device issues reported by the end users
- Support the troubleshooting of connectivity issues and network elements including ISP circuits, firewalls, network switches, wireless equipment and telephony system
- Remote access solution (VPN) implementation and support
- Escalate service issues when required
- Communication with end users as required, keeping them informed of ticket progress
- Advise and train staff on computer operations and software applications
Requirements
Good understanding of Information Technology; trends, products and solutions1+ years’ experience in a similar position supporting a variety of technologies and servicesIn depth knowledge of :Windows OS (Windows 7 & 10)Microsoft Office & Office 365 applicationsPC\Laptop hardwarePC\Laptop peripherals, including printersMobile devicesBasic knowledge ofActive DirectoryExchangeITIL certification is an advantageHighly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detailCustomer focused with a passion and drive for customer satisfaction and delivering business valuesA service-oriented mindset and always striving to deliver on tasks and projectsAbility to work independently as well as willing to follow directions and best practicesGreat communication and interpersonal skillsFluent German and English (written and spoken) communication skillsFriendly, supportive and flexible personality with quick learning abilityGood team player with planning and organizing skills & multi-taskCandidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than 3 monthsBenefits
