Our client is looking for a Head of Private Banking. The individual would also ensure that the division meets its sales targets and drives the business performance.
Duties Include :
- To have an existing portfolio of clients.
- To develop and maintain a portfolio of clients.
- Ensure that the team culture is client-focused and market-driven.
- Be responsible for the revenue generation of the division and support the relationship managers in acquiring new assets for the bank.
- Be able to build and maintain business relationships with new and existing business partners.
- Ensure that the private banking business model is successfully implemented.
- Promote the culture of building proactive, long-term relationships and attracting new clients with private banking and wealth management needs.
- Manage the team of private banking professionals as well as hire and train new additions to the team when necessary.
- Keep abreast of new laws and regulations related to private banking and significantly contribute to the bank’s regulatory environment.
- Assimilate client information, investment analysis, the regulatory framework, and the bank’s internal guidelines to determine the best solution being proposed.
The preferred candidate must have a private banking or wealth management background in international bank, preferably in a leadership role, demonstrate an expert understanding of the market, must be able to communicate clearly and credibly with senior stakeholders. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as be able to interact at all levels of business efficiently.
