We are recruiting for a prestigious multinational pharmaceutical company located in Tessin :

Group IT Governance Manager

Mission

The candidate will be responsible for improving and monitoring Business Technology governance at the group level, streamlining processes, fostering cross-company collaboration, ensuring IT audit readiness, and overseeing security effectiveness.

Main responsibilities

  • develop and implement IT governance frameworks and policies to ensure effective management and control of IT resources across the group;
  • monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance practices and make recommendations for improvements;
  • IT Audit readiness and management activities (including e.g. periodic reviews, monitoring and external auditor relations);
  • streamline IT processes to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity;
  • foster cross-company collaboration to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives;
  • ensure IT readiness by developing and maintaining IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans;
  • oversee the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards;
  • collaborate with the Head of Digital Business Technology to align IT governance with digital transformation initiatives.

Knowledge and experience

  • bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • proven experience (at least 5 years) in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • strong understanding of IT processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • fluent Italian and English
  • ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

    • Nice-to-have

  • relevant certifications such as ISO27001, CISSP  or CGEIT are a plus, along with understanding of GMP and GDP in healthcare.
