We are recruiting on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, a leader in the agricultural sector.
Responsibilities :
- Engineer and manage company-wide PostgreSQL database infrastructures.
- Work with cross-departmental teams to ensure the stable operation of databases and their applications.
- Design, install, operate, and maintain highly available PostgreSQL database systems.
- Provide support for our databases, conduct analyses, and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage the database lifecycle and collaborate on IT architecture development.
- Continuously develop and maintain existing and new PostgreSQL databases.
- Offer technical support and advice in application development involving databases.
- Plan and execute database migrations.
- Actively participate in various cross-departmental IT projects.
Your Profile :
- Experience in highly available PostgreSQL environments.
- Proficient in shell scripting and familiar with automation.
- Motivated to contribute knowledge, optimize processes, and successfully implement projects.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and open to new technologies.
- Completed vocational training and / or higher education in computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Career changers with relevant experience are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL Server (including clustering).
- Experience with cloud and container technologies is desirable.
- Excellent German and English skills.
