The opportunity : Senior Tax Specialist

The Job holder will be responsible for the management and implementation of tax projects for the Global Private Banking entities (CRS, FATCA, DAC6, DAC8, BEPS, etc.), and also of supervision of the corporate tax and VAT compliance of the HSBC Group entities in Switzerland and their subsidiaries abroad.

What you will do :
Under the direction of the Head of Tax IWPB Europe and in line with Group policy and best practice, the main responsibilities of the job holder will consist in :
- Management and implementation of tax projects for the Global Private Banking entities (CRS, FATCA, DAC6, DAC8, BEPS, etc.)
- Supervision of the corporate tax and VAT compliance of the HSBC Group entities in Switzerland and their subsidiaries abroad
- Monitoring and implementation of national and international tax developments
- Management of tax related aspects of crossborder credits
- Risk stewardship on all tax related risks for HSBC Swiss entities
- Management all tax aspects relating to corporate planning, reorganizations and business restructuring
- Supervision and implementation of transfer pricing policies impacting Global Private Banking entities
- Lead the tax analysis of new / existing products / services launched by Global Private Banking entities in Europe
- Review tax reporting packages and support year-end closing processes
- Supervise and coordinate tax audits
- Management of various banking tax issues (stamp duties, Swiss and foreign withholding taxes, human resources tax related questions, etc.)
- Communication on tax related issues with key stakeholders and senior management of the Group
- Supervision, coaching and assessment of team members.
You should apply if you have :
