Manage and improve the ICS for the Group and act as System Owner. Ensure consistent and effective internal control design.
Analyse all newly issued Group and country governance documents and identify Key Controls to be created based on them. Review all updated governance documents and identify any needs to update existing Key Controls or to create new ones.
Support subject matter experts in incorporating Key Controls when they create or update governance documents.
Continuously work toward improving the ICS reporting process and related internal control environment to ensure data reliability, accuracy and audit-proof reporting processes and internal controls.
Consolidate and prepare quantitative and qualitative ICS reporting for local management, Group Risk Committee, General Management, Board of Directors, etc.
Deep-dive into ICS reporting to analyse the quality of reporting and control evidence. Work closely with Internal Audit (audit issues) and other stakeholders to help identify negative trends or outliers and propose ad-hoc solutions.
Perform Group-wide training and awareness sessions for staff members involved in the Control Event Reporting process on a regular basis.
Key Skills :
Higher education such as university of applied sciences (FH) / university degree in business administration, economics or equivalent. CFA, FRM or equivalent financial degree or trainings in risk management are a plus.
At least five years of working experience in the field of risk management in the financial industry and additional working experience in an international audit firm for at least 4 years would be desirable.
Good knowledge of internal banking operation and processes.
Fair understanding of legal and regulatory environment.
Solid user skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Filemaker Pro (desirable).
Independent self-starter who thinks laterally, with strong analytical skills, persevering mind-set and meticulous attention to detail.
Team player willing to take full ownership of their tasks and area of responsibility.
