Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities :

With the support and in cooperation with the AFC Manager, HSE Responsible, Head

Quarter Product Specialists of all Assets, he / she operates as Responsible for the

Mechanical Workshop & Depot. The Mechanical Workshop & Depot manages all the

Assets which are Company's owned and which are, as needed, provided to Company's

Jobsites under rental agreements.

In particular he / she is responsible for :

Managerial Side :

  • Manage all aspects related to the Mechanical Workshop & Depot from an Organizational, Operative and Business point of view
  • Prepare quotations in support of Tenders and of Operative Jobsites for the rent of

Assets available in the Depot

  • Planning, Budgeting, Organizing for the Assets needed by the Depot in order to
  • grant adequate, cost-effective and quick support to the Jobsites. For this activity, in

    particular, he / she will develop and maintain the Investment Plan for the Mechanical

    Workshop & Depot

  • Grant positive financial result for the Mechanical Workshop & Depot
  • Planning, budgeting, organizing all the personnel needed according to the
  • Organization Chart in cooperation with the Supply Chain Manager and with HR

  • Ensuring that all deliverables and reports, all information and analysis are
  • completed and provided accurately and on time to Project Management and HQ

    Management

    Technical / Operative Side :

  • Collecting and processing technical specifications of the equipment and plants in
  • coordination with Plant and Equipment Department in the Head Office and

    supporting the technical analysis of Supplier quotations and proposals

  • Planning, organizing and managing arrival of the equipment and plants, relevant
  • assembly, testing and commissioning and startup of the relevant Maintenance

    equipment / facilities in the Mechanical Workshop & Depot

  • Performing and storing all the acceptance tests
  • Planning, organizing and managing the stock of spare partes needed, in
  • collaboration with the Jobsites

  • Providing the correct maintenance to the equipment and plants with a scheduled
  • and traceable methodology

  • Coordinating the activities of external shops / maintenance providers
  • Coordinate and supervise his team in the daily activities, as necessary
  • Optimizing all Assets, and especially the Mobile Equipment, in terms of
  • performances and cost reduction

  • With support of the HSE Department and of the Project Manager of the Jobsites,
  • ensuring the installation and maintenance respect all local-legal requirements for

    the Assets (i.e. Italy CE marking) and interacting with local Authorities / Customer

    representatives for compliance checks and legal documentation related

  • Correct and efficient utilization of all Assets with support of his team and generate
  • reports required to be presented to Corporate Management

  • Demobilization activities according to the strategy defined in the Master Plan
  • Other Accountabilities

  • Corporate : Complies with the Company policies and procedures as issued and amended from time to time
  • Health and Safety : Complies with WHS policy and procedures as amended from time to time. Always takes personal accountability for own and other's safety and always is aware of the
  • impact of decisions and actions on the safety of others.

  • Financial and Planning : Ability to prepare and manage budget, cost analysis, business case, improvement plans. Ability to manage cost reduction and optimizations
  • Interfaces : Personnel must comply with the provisions under the Workplace Relations Management Plan and the National Code and Guidelines to ensure onsite
  • behaviours are consistent with our industrial relations obligations

    Qualifikationen

    Education

  • Technical education is a must; ideally Engineering degree (5 years or MBA) in one
  • of the following courses : Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plant and

    Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering

  • He / she knows at least 2 Languages : English and at least one between German,
  • French, Italian

    Experience

  • Extensive experience (at least 6 years) in Construction Jobsites with the role of
  • Supervisor or Responsible of Mechanical Workshop for Mobile Equipment. Specific

    and extensive knowledge of themost of the typical Mobile Equipment present in

    Construction Jobsites is mandatory.

  • Robust experience in managing and complying with local regulations
  • Strong experience in all the phases of the Project life-cycle and of the Asset life-
  • cycle : mobilization, area's lay-out definition and Workshop implementation,

    planning of operations and operations scheduling, demobilization

  • Strong and extensive experience in Maintenance Management throughout all
  • different, typical technologies : Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Mechanical, etc.

  • Previous, robust experience in OEM Worksho
