The Consolidated Supervision team oversees the implementation of the Global Minimum Standards (GMS) and Global Minimum Controls (GMC) in Switzerland as well as in all international locations. The team is responsible for the Group Policy Management framework, the implementation of the GMC within the Group entities as well as the Cross Unit Relationship (CUR) framework. The team acts as the Group Policy Desk and provide support to the international locations in the implementation of their local policies. The team also acts as the independent responsible unit to conduct Quality Assurance across Group locations and risk types, to verify that the Group standards and controls have been properly implemented and adhered to.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Perform Quality Assurance (design and operative effectiveness assessment) of key controls implemented at Head Office and in the international locations to meet the respective GMC
  • Provide guidance on the Internal Control framework and tools to the international locations for the implementation of the relevant local key controls and the reporting of the control results
  • Consolidate input from international locations on GMC applicability, implementation and results for key stakeholders, Risk Type Owners and Senior Management
  • Manage the GMC deviation / non-applicability workflow tool and related processes
  • Support the rollout and implementation of the GMC in newly established / acquired entities of the group

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree or equivalent (preferably in economics, business administration or finance)
  • Min 5 years professional experience in the private banking business, preferably in Audit, Compliance, Risk or Control functions or with a management consulting firm with focus on Markets Compliance and Financial Crime Compliance topics
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to stay focused on objectives with a can-do-attitude
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English. Fluency in Portuguese, German, French, or any further language is an advantage
  • Proficient user in MS Office applications, especially Excel (Macros) and PowerPoint
