Responsibilities
Your main deliverables will focus on :
1. Resource Mobilization and Development : Develop and implement a fundraising strategy that ensures the financial sustainability of the organization, while collaborating with and assisting in the development of the overall IPPNW federation.
2. Representation and Public Relations : Ensure IPPNW-GLO and the IPPNW federation is well represented to achieve its mission and programmatic goals.
3. Resource Management : Lead the organization's financial affairs, ensure efficient fiscal management, and assist the Board in meeting its legal and fiduciary responsibilities.
4. Leadership and strategic planning : In conjunction with IPPNW, develop and execute IPPNW-GLO strategies and support educational and advocacy activities related to the catastrophic humanitarian impacts of nuclear weapons, the urgent moral and medical imperative of abolishing nuclear weapons, and other threat multipliers such as militarism, war, climate change, and artificial intelligence.
5. Human Resources : Recruit, structure, inspire and lead an effective, diverse Geneva-based staff team, with a common vision and sense of purpose, clear goals and division of responsibility, transparency, accountability, and effective internal coordination and communication.
6. Governance : Inform and consult with IPPNW staff and leadership and the IPPNW-GLO Board and General Assembly to support governance.
Salary : We offer a competitive salary and benefits package based on location. The salary for this full-time position is CHF 80-90'000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
