Department Mission - Software Engineering Platforms
The Software Engineering Platforms department is dedicated to the customer's journey in Swissquote. We define, analyze and make alive the future ofclient facing solutions offered by Swissquote.
We also maintain those applications to always ensure the best client experience in his journey.
By collaborating closely with product strategy department we also are the bridge between company's growth strategy and the corresponding solutions put in place, being then the core actors giving concrete life to the vision defined.
By working hand in hand with the internal departments and the business that they represent we ensure toalways move towards clients and stakeholders needs.
Team Mission
The Banking section designs, develops and maintains all our banking platforms (Client Management, CRM, Onboarding, Payments, Cards, Mortgage, leasing, and crypto).
You will be part of Banking Conception team , working together with 4 other product owners, 2 product designers, and a project manager.
The mission of the team is to transform company strategy into feasible solutions and drive the product's evolution together with the software engineering teams.
Your team is focusing on all aspects related to Banking business, building a true relationship between our clients and Swissquote.
Your responsibilities :
- Communicate and manage relationships with stakeholders to deliver the best product
- Define and document business requirements to capture business needs and constraints, and guide the development process
- Define and maintain a product roadmap to provide a clear direction to the Development teams and stakeholders
- Prioritize the product backlog to ensure that the most valuable work is addressed first and maximize ROI
- Analyze and prioritize client feedback for driving continuous improvements and meeting user expectations
- Collaborate withdesigners to optimize the user experience (e.g A / B testing, mobile & web)
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the product, support business and development teams by knowledge sharing and mentoring
- Maintain awareness of market and industry trends for better optimization of solution definition
- Provide guidance on the vision to the Development Team and explain requirements
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for business feature references
- Monitor KPIs to perform feature prioritization and enhance data-driven decisions
- Ensure incremental business validation to make sure developed features meet business requirements
Qualifications
- Educational background : Master or Bachelor degree
- You have a deep understanding of banking products. Trading and b2b knowledge is a plus.
- You have several years of experience as product owner, business analyst or a similar role
- You have several years of experience working with agile software development teams, and a good understanding of product development in a disciplined agile environment
- You have experience working closely with product designers to build end client solutions on web platforms, mobile a plus
- You have a thorough understanding of the product quality aspect, with prior experience of planning and coordinating business validation activities
- You are an excellent communicator and storyteller with different stakeholders, able to face stakeholders as well institutional clients
- You have experience in sharing your business knowledge and mentoring other team members
- Fluent in English
