Circleup has the mission to create more quality time with people our users like.

We're automating planning and scheduling processes for specific use cases to reduce work, the mental workload and get more quality time.

We're still self-financed and want to stay that way until we have early signs of product-market-fit.

You'll co-own the company and drive the company to success. You don't have to start from scratch, an MVP is there and development resources are available.

In return, you're willing to commit your energy on a long-term perspective to achieve success.

This is an early-stage startup company.

Tasks

Lead the development effort and be a hands-on developer. You should lead the pack.

Accelerate the development speed while maintaining quality.

Communicate proactively with the decentralized team.

Requirements

Backend (Django) :

Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintain the applications.

Develop robust RESTful APIs for frontend consumption.

Work with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to effectively manage data.

Ensure adherence to industry best practices for security, testing, and code quality.

Frontend (Flutter / React) :

Create multi-platform apps for iOS / Android using Flutter.

Build engaging and user-friendly interfaces that align with UI / UX guidelines.

Create reusable and well-structured components.

Implement efficient state management solutions.

Proactively research and adopt new technologies to enhance front-end development.

Additional :

Strong experience in developing and implementing machine learning models, preferably with a focus on predictive AI, Generative AI and NLP.

Experience with working with location data.

Familiarity with scheduling systems and APIs.

Firebase, experienced with implementations of Cloud services (AWS, GCP)

General :

Collaborate effectively with other team members in agile environments.

Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Full-Stack development.

Qualifications :

• You’ve already lead a development team
• 5+ years of experience in Django and either Flutter or React.
• Strong understanding of app and web development principles and best practices.
• Solid foundation in JavaScript (for React) or Dart (for Flutter).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and testing frameworks(playwrite).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passion for building high-quality, user-centric applications.
