We are looking for a wealth planner in Zurich with a trust and legal background.
Responsibilities
Design and implement a comprehensive wealth transfer and succession planning framework for clients, ensuring proper oversight of commercial aspects.
Draft and present customized proposals for international clients and prospects, incorporating structures such as trusts, foundations, partnerships, and dedicated investment vehicles.
Support relationship managers by acting as an internal consultant on complex planning matters, including training sessions and joint participation in client meetings.
Establish and cultivate a reliable network of external advisors (legal, tax, fiduciary, and other service providers) across multiple jurisdictions.
Share expertise and collaborate with peers in wealth transition to further develop best practices and innovative solutions.
Represent the organization at industry events, both as a participant and speaker, enhancing visibility and knowledge-sharing.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained within a private bank, multi-family office, or an international law or advisory firm.
In-depth knowledge of wealth planning vehicles such as trusts, foundations, private funds, and partnerships.
University degree in Law or Finance; STEP certification or equivalent specialization strongly valued.
Continuous professional development in areas such as wealth planning, taxation, and estate structuring.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in other languages is a distinct advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion and empathy.
Demonstrated track record of advising and structuring wealth transition solutions for UHNW families.
Ability to manage and coordinate complex, cross-border projects requiring input from multiple stakeholders.
Strong business development and advisory skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
