The Market Manager Railway is responsible to grow the business in the defined global markets by defining / adapting key strategies / monitoring progresses. This role involves market research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and improve market share.
Main tasks & responsibilities
- Grow our business in the defined global markets, by defining / adapting key strategies / monitoring progresses.
- Determine and analyze systematically the actual and future requirements of the defined target customers, as well as the Market Potential of the defined product portfolio (current and future).
- Know the value proposition of our competitors, as well as its development trends.
- Identify and develop new businesses / applications incl. lead@customer in early phase.
- Partner with Sales in order to diversify within key customers.
- Understand the business environment and requirements (customer, competition, supply chain , technology, application of the products, market disruptions etc.) with its corresponding trends and to initiate the development of new products, applications and services.
- Define the requirements of new products (in close collaboration with Product Management) and services.
- Suggest adjustments to existing products or customer relationships.
- Grow the business in the defined global markets by defining / adapting key strategies / monitoring progresses.
- Collect and analyze market information (Market Intelligence) and understand competition landscape.
- Understand and interpret current and future technologies utilized and applied in the market and by our target customers.
- Actively contribute to the development, implementation and communication of the Segment's strategy.
- Support the Business Plan development.
- Define complete market offering for today and tomorrow (from H+S group or external) and create business cases.
- Define and support go to market strategy jointly with Sales.
- Define positioning and value pricing of „new“ solutions in close collaboration with Technology & Sales.
- Define and support Segment MarCom (incl. budget, exhibition selection, market sales support material etc.) and align other product related MarCom activities within Segment.
- Sales enablement with regards to new applications and market understanding.
- Examines risks and potentials for business opportunities.
- Lead and support engagements in partnerships, JV and M&A.
- Support engineering early product and solution concepts in the context of Business Development with the Solutions Engineering team.
- Identify (local) success stories and prepare them for global multiplication.
- Prepare new developed businesses for a structured hand-over to Sales to allow multiplication.
- Follow processes as given by the Global Management System and actively contribute to process improvements, GEO; INN.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferrable EE or MEProven industry and product knowledgeGood understanding of LF, RF and FO technologiesGeneral management skills with global focus and customer orientationStrong leadership, negotiation, networking, presentation, communication and motivation skillsIn-depth Market specific knowledge and understanding future market requirementSkills :
