Indirect Procurement Manager 80 - 100%

Your contribution

In this challenging and important role you are responsible for managing indirect spend both for goods and services globally with focus on cost savings, supplier consolidation and transparency of the spend. You are responsible for the process procure-to-pay in indirect goods and services, driving automation, and use of digital solutions for the process to request, approve, procure and pay indirect goods and services. Your tasks will also include educating internal stakeholders on procurement processes, policies and best practices.

  • Develop the procurement process and policies regarding indirect spend
  • Develop spend analysis and category strategies (local, regional, global) for indirect spend categories
  • Identify and implement potential savings
  • Negotiate contracts that offer added value; support other organizational units in the negotiations where necessary
  • Build and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives and performance standards
  • Implement actionable KPIs and a meaningful regular reporting

Your background

  • Completed education in a commercial profession or / and commercial university degree
  • Procurement education, preferably in project sourcing
  • Min. 3 years procurement experience in a strategic or project related supply chain management role, proven track record in negotiation, and managing indirect procurement
  • Min 2 years additional experience in either project sourcing or indirect procurement is an advantage
  • Track record in process change is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken English skills, German language is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of SAP R / 3, Coupa, Excel
  • Strong negotiating skills; ability to communicate on all management and employee levels
