We are searching for a highly motivated, insightful, and resourceful individual to join the Medical Affairs International team. The Manager, International Medical Affairs is a visible and impactful role and will be instrumental in supporting the Medical Affairs activities for our commercial product (ripretinib) at European level in alignment with the Global Medical Affairs Scientific Director (dotted line report).
It is a unique opportunity to shape the landscape and the organization for Deciphera and grow alongside the company as it develops. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager, International Medical Affairs, with a dotted line to the Global Medical Affairs Scientific Director of ripretinib.
The Role :
- Supporting the leadership of a supra-regional medical function. This role will include working closely with the Global Scientific Director, in alignment with the other functions involved in the brand planning and development of the product (commercial, mkt access, regulatory, compliance, etc) offering a key contribution to the pre-launch and launch phases in the different geographies;
What You’ll Do :
Support the development of the International Medical Affairs Plan for ripretinib in alignment with the Global Scientific Director and other functionsProvide tactical support and implementation of the medical affairs activities internationallyAct as scientific and medical review expert for ripretinibClose collaboration and alignment with the International Marketing for Marketing and Commercial international projectsClinical trials support in alignment with the Global Scientific Director and Clinical Operations DepartmentProvide support and direction for the International Publication Plan in alignment with the global publication strategyEnsure legal excellence and compliance in all medical activities as per Deciphera’s SOPs and local regulations.Promote Deciphera’s values.Qualifications
MD or bio-science backgroundAt least 5 years in Pharma industry, with experience in regional functionsPrevious experience in Oncology or Rare DiseaseMobile, willing to travel (approx. 20% work in field)Hands-on, ready to create a medical footprint of Deciphera in the assigned area and beyondStrong communication skills, open style & pro-activeLanguages : English; any other language is beneficialAdditional Information
Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is based on relevant benchmarks by Radford and Mercer. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and / or location.
