Job purpose

The Operational Excellence Intern will aid in the implementation the HAPS (HaleonPerformance System) principles / tools at the site to deliver the Business Strategyimprove Business Performance (Safety Quality Service & Cost) by using a data-driven approach. Next to the Operational Excellence Specialist and manage by theOperational Excellence Manager the Operational Excellence Intern is in charge ofseveral mini transformations on the shopfloor. Acting as an example with teams he shares good practices and adopts a performance Run On Target thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect data implementing sustainable measuring processes and reporting trends of the main key performance indicators (including OEE % and Yield %) to assess opportunities and track success of execution.
• Facilitating cross-functional improvement projects and Lean Focused Improvement tools (Kaizen SMED 5S AM Centerlining etc.).
• Building capabilities of hourly workforce via LSW SOPs and Lean tools training; coaching and mentoring teams and individuals on best practices for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Support site implementation efforts of Digital 4.0 tools within the Haleon Performance System (HAPS).
• Daily GEMBA walks to identify safety quality efficiency and waste opportunities.
