We offer an exciting challenge for individuals seeking experience in Outdoor Sport Finanical Analysis. This is a highly diversified role within a passionate and dynamic team, providing excellent opportunities for career progression.

Specifically, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and strategic support to drive business growth and profitability. This role involves collaborating with various departments to provide insights and recommendations that influence key business decisions.

Tasks

Financial Planning & Budgeting :

  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate budget submissions.

Financial Analysis & Reporting :

  • Analyze monthly financial results, variances, and trends.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management.
  • Conduct profitability analysis on products, services, and business segments.
  • Strategic Support :

  • Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans.
  • Evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and new business opportunities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Operational Efficiency :

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
  • Support cost control initiatives and monitor operational expenses.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support various business scenarios.
  • Business Performance Monitoring :

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards for real-time monitoring.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze sales trends and customer behavior.
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Compliance & Risk Management :

  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably within the sporting goods or outdoor industry but not necessary.
  • Proficiency in English and French are mandatory; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for snowboarding and the outdoor industry is a plus.
