Your tasks
Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, piece parts on schedule
Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts
Request and execute engine modifications
Control of executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies
Perform assigned work on time and ensure quality of work
Application of Lean Six Sigma (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
Continuous improvement of the processes to be executed with the aim of improving quality and safety
Environmentally conscious handling of operating equipment (resources)
Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition
Timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders
Documentation of activities assigned in accordance with regulations
Performance of internal audits (e.g. 5S audits) and in-time implementation of the defined actions
Your profile
Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry
Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145 / part 66
Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends
Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely and in a responsible manner
Open-minded and dedicated team player with good communication skills
High safety, quality and cost awareness
Knowledgeable in MS office and SAP experience
Knowledge of English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus
