Research Assistant in Architectural Theory

The Chair of the Theory of Architecture at the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta) at ETH Zurich are looking for an assistant (doc / post-doc, 60%) to begin in January 2024.

Job description

The position involves teaching and research in the history and theory of architecture, administrative tasks, as well as collaboration in the projects of the chair.

Your profile

A degree in architecture or a degree in humanities (history, art history, ethnography, etc.) is required.

Candidates are expected to work on an independent research project during their assistantship. Knowledge of German is desirable but not required.
