In this role you will report directly to the Head of Intercontinental & Partner Business as a sole contributor. You will lead without authority and influence the design and execution of the global strategy for the Iron Franchise, which is executed by Regional Head, GMs, and Commercial Heads.
The Role
- Define and drive regional expansion of our portfolio opportunities.
- Help define and drive ambitious growth plans across the Global Partner Business and Intercontinental regions, including go-to-market models with a focus on the top 10 pharma emerging markets, Canada, China, and Japan; implement strategies that create new business to accelerate sales growth.
- Support Regional Offices and Business Partners in establishing strong business cases for further product growth.
- Coordinate business analyses for new / renewal distribution and promotion agreements in accordance with Vifor Pharma’s financial framework, NPV, and Pricing Governance conditions.
- Conduct regular Business Reviews and provide strategic input / share best practices with Partner network.
- Leverage HQ-based functional expertise (3M ICP&PB HQ based) to support regional teams and Business Partners.
- Be an active member of the Iron Franchise GBT, representing the ICO&PB region.
- Align with internal stakeholders, including global brand teams, to ensure strategy alignment and consistency across regions.
- Oversee budget management for the portfolio, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support strategic objectives while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Previous previous experience and understanding of Ferrinject or similar IV Iron products is highly desirable.Education : Life Sciences or Pharmacy Degree and / or (e) MBA.Experience : 10-15 years in commercial operations, with broad pharma experience across functions (Sales experience is a preferred).Commercial Expertise : Proven success with diverse commercialization models, including affiliates and third-party distributors, and experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes.Strategic Mindset : Demonstrated ability to develop and execute market entry and growth strategies in competitive, emerging markets.Communication & Collaboration : Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal skills; skilled in cross-cultural communication and collaboration. Additional language skills is a plus.Analytical & Financial Acumen : Strong analytical skills and budget management experience, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.About CSL Vifor
