As a PLC Specialist, you will be responsible for the programming, configuration, and maintenance of PLC systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of automated processes and machinery, contributing to the efficiency and safety of production workflows. A working knowledge of German is essential to communicate effectively with the client's local teams and partners.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop PLC programs to control and optimize industrial automation processes.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing PLC systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate PLCs with other systems (e.g., HMI, SCADA).
Modify, test, and improve PLC software for enhanced performance and reliability.
Ensure that all systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Document technical work and modifications made to the systems.
Provide technical support and training for maintenance teams and system operators.
Communicate with German-speaking stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications :

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related technical field.

Proven experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).

Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Experience with HMI and SCADA systems is a plus.

Intermediate German language skills (mandatory).

Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Willingness to travel to client sites when necessary.
