Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and business driven candidate for Business Development Analyst position within EMEA Wholesale Digital Team in Geneva. This role is critical to support wholesale digital team in understanding and driving sales performance through meaningful and actionable insights. In this role, you will be responsible for putting together and analyzing sell-in and sell-out data, creating comprehensive reports, and building impactful presentations. You will collaborate across EMEA regions and functions, working closely with sales, marketing, logistics and finance teams to support business objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Gather and analyze partners’ sell-in and sell-out data to generate meaningful business insights and calls to action helping shape informed strategic decisions
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and fiscal year reports on sell in, sell out and sell through
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency while managing large datasets and reports
- Oversee data maintenance, identify opportunities for data quality and flow enhancement through Dataiku or other tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance and across different regions
- Prepare and present decks and reports to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Competitive Benchmarking & Industry Insights
Utilize various analytical tools and methodologies (e.g., Excel, BI tools, market research platforms) to monitor market and competition and drive actionable insights. Present data-driven recommendations to key stakeholders to influence business development initiativesUse internal data, external market research tools, and competitive intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor actions to maintain a competitive edgeBuild and maintain reports to track performance KPIs, measure business impact, and guide decision-makingAct as Digital Ambassador : gather industry news and reports, foster knowledge sharing across organizationWholesale Digital Distribution Support
Coordinate regional account reviews and own the approved accounts listSupport on unauthorized distribution clean up projectBuild strong relationships and serve as the liaison between wholesale digital department and regional sales teamsExperience, Skills, and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science or equivalent preferred2-4 years of experience in business development and or commercial roles, sales analytics preferably within wholesale, e-commerce, retail or fashion industriesProven ability to manage, navigate and innovatively interpret complex data both internal (sell in, sell out, sell through, stock, re-order) and external market data (Edited, Statista,.) translating them in actionable insightsAbility to create and deliver clear concise and compelling presentationsAbility to think proactively, creatively problem solve, and escalate issues when neededHigh degree of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detailExceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously working with tight deadlines and under pressureWillingness to learn and to constantly improveExcellent organization, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teamsEnthusiasm, positivity and team spiritStrong proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel (advanced Excel is a must), Dataiku, BI platforms and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Fully proficient in working in English, any other language is an assetAffinity with the brand and product, knowledge of fashion digital and retail industry trends and dynamics is a plus
