Main responsibilities

Collaborate with Finance analysts and subject matter experts to implement new data interfaces to feed models or finance systems.
Plan, develop, test and support ETL / ELT processes including associated data storage structures.
Perform processing reviews, analyse execution plans, re-factor inefficient processing’s, review bottlenecks.
Build and execute test cases to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
Member of on-duty rotations team to ensure production continuity.

Skills and experience

Excellent knowledge of Datawarehouse / Datalakehouse designs best practices (star schemas, data vault, data mesh, data products)

Excellent knowledge of SQL Server language and storage engine behaviour, execution plan review is your natural query performance tool.

Good knowledge of SSAS Tabular and multidimensional platform and languages (DAX, MDX) or strong appetite to become a reference.

Experience in designing and developing PowerBi datasets and reports,

Good knowledge of PowerShell,

Good knowledge of banking data, positions, and transactions typologies

Knowledge of T24 banking system is a plus.

Experience with Python, Spark, Kafka, .NET is a plus.

Azure Data Engineer certification or commitment to become certified during the 1st year.

Willingness to learn a wider range of technologies, including legacy one.
