Main duties :

  • Identify suspicious clients and / or counter-parties through transactions screening systems (GT Exchange);
  • Manage alerts with potential matches in due time : Analysis of matches; Liaison with FLoD for clarification;
  • Collaboration with other Compliance Units, especially the Sanctions’ colleagues;
  • Collaboration with Compliance Units from other EFGI entities to which EFG Bank AG provides Correspondent bank services, when applicable;
  • Follow escalation process of matches;
  • Escalate to Head of Sanctions team highly sensitive and / or urgent cases;
  • Manage as priority potential matches with added Sanctions’ risks;
  • Upload lists to the transactions screening systems;
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of screening parameters;
  • Support the implementation on systems’ patches and support IT with testing;
  • Preparation of management reports for internal use;
  • Support hand-over to back-up.

Skills and experience

  • 2+ years of experience in the Banking sector;
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, French, German and / or Italian are a plus;
  • Knowledge in GT Exchange and / or Swift / SIC messages a plus;
  • Sound knowledge in Sanctions is a plus;
  • CAS in Compliance and / or other specialized certificates are a plus;
  • Sound knowledge of the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering regulatory framework;
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Capability to question with sound judgement and discretion;
  • Ability to work independently and with the team towards common goals;
  • Flexibility, detailed oriented, precise and resourcefulness;
  • Fast learner;
  • Able to take action and decisions;
